H.G WELLS

H.G. Wells was a teacher, and then he started to write some books. He

wrote a lot of science fiction, like : , “The Island of Dr. Moreau” (1896), “The

Invisible Man” (1897), “The War of the Worlds” (1898), “The First Men on the

Moon” (1901), “The War in the Air” (1908), “Anticipations” (1901), “Mankind in

the Making” (1903), and a “Modern Utopia” (1905) He lived for 80 years (1866 -

1946). During his life he had two wives, Isabella, his cousin, and then one of his

brightest students, Amy Catherine. (Online-literature.com).

H.G. Wells “Invisible Man” is about how scientist made experiment on

himself, he had come invisible. He knew that he could use that power for his

enjoyment and good living. He stole, killed his enemies, and even did physical

abuse. Then he wanted power, he had hunger for power, so he even wanted to

build “the Epoch of the Invisible Man”. Though he was caught and beaten to his

death. Wells wants to show how power makes people want more and more every
